Random web slice
How do I add a Web Slice to my web browser?
With Web Slices, you can keep up with frequently updated sites directly from the new Favorites Bar of Internet Explorer 8. If a Web Slice is available on a particular page, this icon will appear in the upper-right hand corner of your browser. Click on the icon to subscribe and add the Web Slices to the Favorites Bar so you can keep track of that "slice" of the web no matter what you are doing at the time.
If you have Internet Explorer 8, you can test this great new feature right here on this page. Click on the green icon, available in the upper-right corner, to add ‘New Web Slices’ web slice as a demo slice. (see below how to delete web slices)
Web sites can have one or more web slices available for you to add so you can pick and choose which piece of information or content you want to track and add to your Favorites Bar.
How do I delete a Web Slice from my web browser?
After you have added a web slice to your Favorites Bar, you can easily delete it by right clicking on the slice tab, selecting 'delete' option and clicking 'yes' to confirm.
